We went to Blanco State Park knowing it was a small park. We didn't expect much from the trails since they weren't very long and we didn't think we'd be getting in the water because the day was pretty chilly. Our expectations were low but we were blown away. The Caswell Nature Trail turned out to be a beauty!

18 reviews of Cape Blanco State Park "This review is for the trails, beach and cabins. Cape Blanco State Park is about 5 miles west of Hwy 101 along the coast. We stayed in Eagle Cabin and it was really cozy. I highly recommend them for $39/nt. Can't beat it. They are sparsely equipped but clean and easier than tent-camping. The yurt has a bunk bed (single on top and bottom) and a double bed.
